Launching the first genuinely independent Australian Financial Services Licence of its kind, these are individual professionals striving to be the best they can be, in turn sharing their experiences in order to grow and develop their practices into the best they can be. Independent Financial Advisers Australia (IFA-AUST) is a community of like-minded independent advisers who place a heavy emphasis on professional development and business management and seek to inspire each other to improve.

ASIC recently approved an AFSL for IFA-AUST, the licensee of which is current president of the Profession of Independent Financial Advisers (PIFA), Daniel Brammall.

Both consumers and advisers have sought this move. Consumers say because independent advice is now available, why settle for anything less? Advisers say the industry makes it nearly impossible to practise in a truly independent way. IFA-AUST aims to be a well-rounded, full-service solution for independent advisers who want to practise exactly this way.

IFA-AUST is a strong advocate of advice that really is independent – both for consumers to seek and advisers to practise. IFA-AUST members believe this new AFSL is just a natural extension of what they believe in and are already providing.
